Danışık, A wedding tradition

It is the name given to the meeting where the families who will marry their children invite their neighbors to consult. After determining the people who will set the table on the first night of the wedding and the families that will accept guests in their homes, a plan is made about how the wedding will be held and the help to be made to the wedding owner is discussed. In addition, the officials designated for the night of the wedding organize the entertainment and play traditional folk dances and local games with the participation of the guests and local people. This tradition is performed at weddings in Keles, Orhaneli, Büyükorhan and Harmancık districts called Mountain Region of Bursa.
