  • Botanizing

Bursa and Uludağ have a very rich flora. 1320 plant species found in Uludag 171 of them endemic to Turkey, 33 of them are endemic to the Uludag. The main observable plants are  bay, olive, tar juniper, hazelnut, heather, red pine, redbud, arbutus, wild strawberry, oak, hawthorn, elm, beech, aspen, larch, coriander, chamomile, coiling, bridal button, cornflower, chicory, vetiver, straw flower, deer belly, skim grass, mountain enamel, goose grass, iberian, carnations, legumes, cantanaceae, iris, lily, salephaceae, poppies, violets.

  • Water Skiing

Turkey's first cable water ski park Sukay Park located in Bursa. Sukay Park, built on 100 decares of land within the borders of Osmangazi district; It consists of an island, a pond, a children's playground, walking and jogging tracks, sports fields, a water ski school and a training area for beginners.

  • Swimming and Diving

Bursa, which has a 135 km coastal line to the Marmara Sea, has many beaches. Büyükkumla, Küçükkumla, Narli, Karacaali, Yenikoy, Bayramdere, Güzelyali, Kursunlu, Mudanya, Kumyaka, Tirilye, Eskel, Mesudiye and Ayazma beaches are among the most used beaches. In addition, Iznik and Uluabat Lakes have usable beaches.

  • Bird Watching

Karacabey Eskikaraağaç stork village which is the only representative  of European Stork Village Network  in Turkey, is an important center where migrating storks stay and relax on the European-African migration route . There are more than 100 stork nests in the village, and most of the stork nests are maintained by the local people. Because the stork families stay in the same nest every year and because their nests are cared for by the local people, the stork nests are named after the families of the local people. You can see the stork nests in the village while walking along the Stork Walkway surrounding the village, or you can visit Uluabat Lake Bird Watching Tower and the Stork Observatory and Museum at the entrance of the village for a professional observation. International Stork Festival is held in Eskikaraağaç Village in June every year.

  • Canyoning

The districts of Bursa are rich in canyons. From these canyons; Yenişehir Cennet Canyon, Orhaneli Sadağı Canyon, İnegöl Fevziye Canyon, İznik Tacir and Sansarak Canyon and Keles Kocasu Valley are the venues for canyoning activities.

Some of the places where you can do horse riding, horseback riding and nature excursions are as follows in Bursa : Altınpark Facilities on Orhaneli Road, Haflinger Farm near Botanical Park, Manege Cafe in Pasa Farm, Bursa Horse Sports Club, Six Garden Cafe in Mudanya , Balat Riding Club in Balat Forest, Eastern horseback riding in Gemlik road Dürdane, Nilüfer Riding Club on Orhaneli road, İnegöl Araz Bey horse farm and İnegöl Ortaköy Horse Farm.

Bursa, which is a valley between Uludağ in the south and Katırlı mountains in the north, has many paragliding tracks at different heights. Some of the tracks where you can make an initial training journey and glide with a unique view are: Gürsu Dışkaya, Yıldırım Zeyniler, Orhangazi Gürle, Nilüfer Fadıllı, İnegöl Aktaş Tepe and Mustafakemalpaşa Keltaş Tepe.

  • Snow Motorcycle

Uludağ, the first winter sports center in Turkey, is also the center of interest in the snow motorcycle. You can experience a snow motorcycle ride in the attractive tracks in the Sarılan area and between the cable car Kurbağakaya station and Bakacak area.

Uludag is the first attraction of winter tourism in Turkey. There are more than 20 ski-runs with lengths ranging from 3000 m to 500 m in the first and second hotels area. The difficulty level of the trails that can be reached from the starting point with beautiful and modern ski lifts, varies from easy to medium and difficult. If you wish, you can go to Uludağ completely unprepared and you can get snow suits and ski and snowboard gear from the ski rooms and enjoy skiing all day long.

Both with its coastline and abundance of fresh water resources in Bursa, Sportive Hand-line Fishing is a rapidly spreading activity in recent years. Iznik Lake, Uluabat Lake, Keles Baraklı Pond, Keles Gököz Pond, Dağyenice Pond, Harmancık Karaca Pond and Gürsu Ericek Pond are places where you can do this activity. In addition to this, you can prefer  the coasts of Gemlik, Mudanya and Karacabey, the districts of Bursa that have coasts to the Marmara Sea.

Bursa, the city where nature generously displays its beauties, is a candidate to be the accommodation center of caravan and camping volunteers who love to be alone with nature.In Bursa; Orhaneli Sadağı Canyon, Orhaneli Karagöz Recreation Area, Keles Kocayayla, Baraklı Pond, Dağdibi Pond, Büyükorhan Görecik Plateau, Büyükorhan Düğüncüler Thermal Spring, Nilüfer Misi Camping and Caravan Facility, Dağyenice Pond, Uludağ National Park Çobankaya camp area, Ericek Pond, Gürsu Adrenalin Park Iznik Lake surroundings, Iznik Alıç Plateau, Karacabey Longozu and many natural wonders are suitable for camping and caravan accommodation.

  1. Mysia Ways: Mysia Ways Nature, History and Culture Routes, established by Nilüfer Municipality, are to date the most well-organized hiking trails and cycling routes in Bursa. Paths and forest roads, connecting settlements to one another, used from ancient and Ottoman times until today, have been rendered safe and easy to walk via Mysia Ways signposts and international standard markings. Mysia Ways routes offer to nature lovers the chance for various activities such as walks, camping, cycling, panoramic view, nature photography, horse riding and wild life observation. Mysia Ways consist of 50 hiking and cycling routes of a total length of approximately 800 kilometers.
