Building on this strong heritage, the Bursa Gastronomy Festival welcomes thousands of food enthusiasts and professionals every year.

4th International Bursa Gastronomy Festival (2025) - “The Route is Being Redrawn”

The festival, to be held on September 26-28, 2025:

The festival, which will take place between September 26-28, is expected to add value to the city by combining both traditional and modern gastronomy concepts this year.
With its 8,500-year history, Bursa stands out not only for its economic potential, history, culture, and tourism but also for its rich culinary heritage and gastronomy. It is one of Turkey's leading gastronomy cities with its geographically indicated products, fertile lands, and developed food sector.
With this rich heritage, Bursa will host the 4th International Bursa Gastronomy Festival at Merinos Park from September 26-28, 2025, under the theme “The Route is Being Redrawn!”
During the festival, there will be talks, panels, competitions, gastrosahne shows, masterclasses, concerts, and children's activities with the participation of famous chefs, academics, content creators, and media representatives. There will also be booths belonging to local and national businesses that will highlight flavors unique to Bursa.

3rd International Bursa Gastronomy Festival (2024) – “Bursa on My Palate”

The festival, held on September 13–15, 2024:

Participation was secured from 10 cities in 7 countries, including Bulgaria, Ukraine, Greece, and China.
Interesting events such as a gluten-free milk halva competition and children's and mini chef competitions were held.
Artists such as Oğuzhan Koç and Fettah Can performed on stage.
Over 500,000 visitors were welcomed.

2nd Bursa Gastronomy Festival (2023) – “Green Bursa Green Gastronomy”

At the festival held at Merinos Park on September 15-17, 2023:

Bursa cuisine was highlighted with the theme of sustainability.
Certified flavors and over 100 Bursa brands were featured.
Events were organized with renowned chefs and academics.
Mustafa Ceceli took the stage.
The festival again attracted great interest, hosting tens of thousands of visitors.

1. Bursa Gastronomy Festival (2022) – “Silky Delicacies”

The first festival, held in conjunction with the Bursa Tourism and Food Fairs:

Included 5 panels and a gastronomy workshop beforehand.
Over 50 academics, chefs, and industry representatives evaluated Bursa cuisine.
A special promotional tour was organized for social media influencers, journalists, and tourism professionals.
Cooking competitions were held featuring products such as tahini, baklava, and börek.
103 companies and institutions set up booths.
Famous chefs such as Arda Türkmen, Danilo Zanna, and Ömür Akkor participated in the festival.
The festival, which ended with a Buray concert, welcomed 350,000 visitors.

Purpose of the Festival

The purpose of the Bursa Gastronomy Festival is to promote the city's culinary heritage both locally and internationally, support sustainable agriculture and production, strengthen gastronomic tourism, and offer a healthy, deep-rooted food culture to new generations.
