I Saw a Stork in the Sky Tour

Inspired by the fact that Bursa is home to Türkiye’s only representative in the European Stork Villages Network, this route focuses on observing storks and their natural habitats. Along the way, visitors can discover a rich variety of landscapes and experiences, where Bursa’s historical and natural attractions, ancient villages, water buffaloes, storks, water lilies, olive groves and fruit orchards come together.

Starting in the Dorak and Karaoğlan villages within the boundaries of Mustafakemalpaşa, the route continues through Uluabat and Eskikaraağaç villages in Karacabey and ends in the villages of Gölyazı and Fadıllı in Nilüfer. Connecting three districts, the route brings together destinations that share one defining feature: they are all located along the shores of Lake Uluabat and provide habitats for storks.
