Ancient Nicaea Roman Theater

Ancient Nicaea Roman Theater which is in the southwest of Iznik, Bursa is one of the most spectacular artefacts in Anatolia. The theater was built by Roman Emperor Trajan in A.D. 2. The detailed information about the structure program of the theater was gathered by the letters of Bithynia Governor. The theater hosted gladiator games and many other magnificent performances as it was at the capital.
