Ketendere

It is an ancient port named after Keten Creek. In ancient times, many harbors had fresh water sources like this one. The reason for this is to reduce the salt water level in the harbor and to minimize the wood maggots called Teredo Navalis, which are extremely harmful for wooden ships.
