Nestled on the scenic slopes of Mount Uludağ in the Yıldırım district, the S.S. Zeyniler Çalıkuşu Women’s Agricultural Development Cooperative is a pioneering center where women’s labor meets authentic local flavors. Inspired by the famous Turkish novel Çalıkuşu, which has deep ties to the village of Zeyniler, the cooperative stands as a powerful symbol of female solidarity and rural development.
Founded in 2016 by seven visionary women entrepreneurs, the cooperative has grown into a thriving community of over 40 partners. Operating with a "farm-to-table" philosophy, these women not only contribute to the local economy but also preserve Bursa’s deep-rooted culinary heritage for future generations.
