International Bursa Knife Festival and Fair

The renowned history and craftsmanship heritage of Bursa knife-making, celebrated worldwide, was honored at the 1st International Bursa Knife Festival and Fair, held from May 23-25, 2025, at the Bursa Merinos Atatürk Cultural Center, Merinos Campus Fairgrounds. The festival brought together hundreds of participants and competitors with exhibitions, competitions, and fair events. Leading masters, collectors, and experts in the sector shared their experiences, while panels and discussions were held on the present and future of knife-making. The knife-making sector, which is undergoing transformation due to the impact of technology, was comprehensively addressed throughout the festival, along with its traditional heritage. Bursa's craft tradition was brought back into the spotlight, meeting with local and foreign visitors.
