This event, which takes place in October every year, has been held since 1996. National and international theater groups exhibit their plays at the festival. In addition, seminars and discussion programs are organized within the framework of the festival by forming working groups with local and international participants in order to discuss and solve the problems of children's and youth theaters.

Bursa&nbsp;Once&nbsp;Again&nbsp;Hosts&nbsp;the&nbsp;Gathering&nbsp;of&nbsp;Children&rsquo;s&nbsp;and&nbsp;Youth&nbsp;Theatres: 29th International Bursa&nbsp;Children&nbsp;and&nbsp;Youth&nbsp;Theatre&nbsp;Festival
Organized&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;Bursa&nbsp;Culture&nbsp;Arts&nbsp;and&nbsp;Tourism&nbsp;Foundation (BKSTV)&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;artistic&nbsp;support&nbsp;of ASSITEJ&nbsp;Turkey&nbsp;and&nbsp;on&nbsp;behalf&nbsp;of Bursa Metropolitan&nbsp;Municipality,&nbsp;the&nbsp;29th International Bursa&nbsp;Children&nbsp;and&nbsp;Youth&nbsp;Theatre&nbsp;Festival&nbsp;will&nbsp;take&nbsp;place&nbsp;between&nbsp;15&ndash;24 May 2026,&nbsp;bringing&nbsp;theatre&nbsp;lovers&nbsp;together&nbsp;across&nbsp;the&nbsp;city.&nbsp;With&nbsp;performances,&nbsp;workshops&nbsp;and&nbsp;talks&nbsp;scheduled&nbsp;throughout&nbsp;Bursa,&nbsp;the&nbsp;festival&nbsp;continues&nbsp;to&nbsp;enrich&nbsp;thecity&rsquo;s&nbsp;cultural&nbsp;life as it&nbsp;does&nbsp;every&nbsp;year.
Dedicated&nbsp;to&nbsp;expanding&nbsp;children&rsquo;s&nbsp;and&nbsp;young&nbsp;people&rsquo;s&nbsp;access&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;arts&nbsp;and&nbsp;opening&nbsp;new&nbsp;doors&nbsp;to&nbsp;their&nbsp;creative&nbsp;worlds,&nbsp;the&nbsp;festival&nbsp;brings&nbsp;together&nbsp;national&nbsp;and&nbsp;international&nbsp;theatre&nbsp;companies,&nbsp;showcasing&nbsp;diverse&nbsp;theatrical&nbsp;perspectives&nbsp;and&nbsp;cultural&nbsp;expressions.
Throughout&nbsp;the&nbsp;festival,&nbsp;participants&nbsp;interested&nbsp;in&nbsp;theatre&nbsp;will&nbsp;not&nbsp;only&nbsp;attend&nbsp;performances, but&nbsp;will&nbsp;also&nbsp;have&nbsp;the&nbsp;opportunity&nbsp;to&nbsp;take&nbsp;part&nbsp;in&nbsp;workshops&nbsp;and&nbsp;interactive&nbsp;activities. Young&nbsp;people&nbsp;will&nbsp;gain&nbsp;hands-on&nbsp;stage&nbsp;experience,&nbsp;share&nbsp;ideas&nbsp;and&nbsp;explore&nbsp;their&nbsp;own&nbsp;artistic&nbsp;paths.&nbsp;In&nbsp;this&nbsp;regard,&nbsp;the&nbsp;festival&nbsp;aims&nbsp;to&nbsp;create&nbsp;a&nbsp;space&nbsp;where&nbsp;younger&nbsp;generations&nbsp;can&nbsp;express&nbsp;themselves&nbsp;and&nbsp;contribute&nbsp;to&nbsp;artistic&nbsp;production.

Applications &amp; Participation Requirements:

<li class="s5">Application&nbsp;deadline:&nbsp;16&nbsp;March 2026</li>
<li class="s5">Groups&nbsp;selected&nbsp;to&nbsp;participate&nbsp;will&nbsp;perform&nbsp;a minimum of two&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;maximum&nbsp;of&nbsp;four&nbsp;shows&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;single&nbsp;performance&nbsp;fee&nbsp;determined&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;Festival&nbsp;Committee.</li>
<li class="s5">The&nbsp;Bursa&nbsp;Culture,&nbsp;Arts&nbsp;and&nbsp;Tourism&nbsp;Foundation&nbsp;will&nbsp;cover&nbsp;accommodation,&nbsp;meals(breakfast,&nbsp;lunch,&nbsp;dinner)&nbsp;and&nbsp;local&nbsp;transportation&nbsp;for&nbsp;participating&nbsp;groups.&nbsp;All&nbsp;personal&nbsp;expenses inside or&nbsp;outside&nbsp;the&nbsp;hotel&nbsp;must&nbsp;be&nbsp;covered&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;participants.</li>
<li class="s5">Groups&nbsp;are&nbsp;kindly&nbsp;requested&nbsp;to&nbsp;consider&nbsp;performance&nbsp;fees&nbsp;as&nbsp;well&nbsp;as&nbsp;travel&nbsp;and&nbsp;set&nbsp;transportation&nbsp;costs&nbsp;when&nbsp;submitting&nbsp;their&nbsp;proposal.</li>
<li class="s5">For&nbsp;international&nbsp;companies&nbsp;requiring&nbsp;large-scale&nbsp;set&nbsp;pieces,&nbsp;the&nbsp;possibility&nbsp;of&nbsp;producing&nbsp;or&nbsp;sourcing&nbsp;the&nbsp;set&nbsp;locally&nbsp;may&nbsp;be&nbsp;evaluated&nbsp;by&nbsp;the festival.</li>
<li class="s5">Participating&nbsp;groups&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;selected&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;Art&nbsp;Committee,&nbsp;based&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;submittedapplications. A&nbsp;full&nbsp;recording&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;performance&nbsp;must&nbsp;be&nbsp;included&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;application.</li>
<li class="s5">The&nbsp;application&nbsp;form&nbsp;must&nbsp;be&nbsp;completed&nbsp;in&nbsp;full.</li>
<li class="s5">A full&nbsp;recording&nbsp;link&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;teaser&nbsp;link&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;performance&nbsp;must&nbsp;be&nbsp;included&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;application.</li>
